If the weather doesn’t cooperate\, no worries we’ll move it indoors. \nAfter the class\, we’ll have some light snacks and drinks so we can cool off and hang out together. This is a public event\, and everyone’s welcome\, so feel free to invite friends\, coworkers\, or anyone who enjoys music\, movement\, and fun! \nIf you’re planning to join\, please mark yourself as Attending in the Facebook group (click here). During the webinar\, you’ll hear about many perspectives on the ongoing concern of aging in one’s own home and getting people who have an intellectual disability out of long-term care facilities. Members of Council of Community Living Ontario and People4People will share their perspectives on the way people are moved into large institution-like settings which are not fulfilling the needs of each person individually. The purpose of this webinar is to create awareness about the challenges faced by people who have a disability and realizing the significance of advocating together by collaborating and creating a collective voice to bring about a positive change. \nWe welcome you all to attend and please share this within your networks.

Join us for this charity golf tournament\, hosted by Joe Hamley and in support of Community Living Guelph Wellington. \nSwing into Summer – Charity Golf Tournament\nOn Monday June 26th\,  golfers will hit the links in support of people living with a disability. Swing into Summer golfers collect pledges from friends\, family and businesses\, and shoot for the greens to meet their goals. All pledges collected support CLGW. \n— \nRaising pledges! \nWe recommend that golfers collect a minimum of $200 in pledges. Your entry includes a meal that corresponds with your tee-off time\, water throughout your round\, cart\, and 18 holes of golf. You may choose to only play 9 holes based on your personal availability. \nTee-off times are flexible. \nAriss Valley Golf and Country Club will do their best to accommodate interested golfers and the tournament. \n— \nLooking to pledge a golfer?
