During the webinar\, you’ll hear about many perspectives on the ongoing concern of aging in one’s own home and getting people who have an intellectual disability out of long-term care facilities. Members of Council of Community Living Ontario and People4People will share their perspectives on the way people are moved into large institution-like settings which are not fulfilling the needs of each person individually. The purpose of this webinar is to create awareness about the challenges faced by people who have a disability and realizing the significance of advocating together by collaborating and creating a collective voice to bring about a positive change. \nWe welcome you all to attend and please share this within your networks.

DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to share that we’ve partnered with Shake It Off Studio to bring you a fun and upbeat Zumba class! 💃🕺 \nCome join us on Thursday\, August 21\, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Royal Road parking lot. If the weather doesn’t cooperate\, no worries we’ll move it indoors. \nAfter the class\, we’ll have some light snacks and drinks so we can cool off and hang out together. This is a public event\, and everyone’s welcome\, so feel free to invite friends\, coworkers\, or anyone who enjoys music\, movement\, and fun! \nIf you’re planning to join\, please mark yourself as Attending in the Facebook group (click here).
