CLGW purchased services are a great way to tailor supports to your individual needs and goals with 1:1 direct support. This could include recreation opportunities, purchasing job coaching or Supported Independent Living-like supports.
We also help individuals become community members by managing and planning for their Passport funding as they explore and access community services and supports.
Community Living Guelph Wellington is a Transfer Payment Agency (TPA). This means that we can help manage some or all of your Passport Funds. As your TPA, we can provide staff and pay for independent contractors. We can also purchase community supports and services and pay outside invoices. How we manage your funds is your choice.
You can purchase some CLGW services with Passport funds or with your own funds.
We can provide 1:1 support with community participation, employment, education, volunteer work, independent living, recreation and leisure activities.
Yes! We can help you plan how to use your funding and we don’t need to accompany you to events. We offer individualized supports and you are a part of all of the planning.
A lot of people use CLGW because they don’t have a way to pay for activities or events and then wait to be reimbursed by Passport One. We also ensure that everything you want to use your funding for is Passport admissible.
