Campus Friends

In partnership with the University of Guelph, Campus Friends (CF) facilitates opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to experience university student life with mentorship support from student volunteers enabling each individual to discover their talents and strengths as adult learners.

When does Campus Friends operate and how much does it cost?
  • Campus Friends students attend the UofG fall & winter terms every WEDNESDAY from 9am-3pm.
  • In total, it is a 3-year, 6 semester September to April commitment.
  • $1,500 per year (2 semesters at $750.00 per term) Campus Friends is an eligible Passport expense, and payment plans (monthly instalments) are available.

Anyone who has graduated from high school and has:

  • Genuine interest in learning, recreation, volunteerism, and social connections.
  • Motivation to learn and an open desire to try new experiences.
  • Ability to read and write at a basic level. Support from mentors is available.
