Campus Friends
Wondering what comes after high school? Young adults now have an exciting way to explore learning, friendships and interests at University of Guelph. Into fitness? Love music? The possibilities are endless on campus.
How it works
Participants attend Campus Friends one day per week September to April. They’re matched with compatible university student mentors. Together, they try campus activities that fit with a person’s interests. Each schedule is individualized, so a typical day might involve a yoga class, a lunch time concert and a seminar.
How to Register
Contact info@clgw.ca for an application form and an interview. If accepted, participants pay a fee.
Best Buddies
Want to meet some new friends? Best Buddies is your best bet! We partner with Best Buddies Canada to connect people we support with University of Guelph students.
How it works
Each person is matched with a University of Guelph student who shares similar interests. Together, they explore fun activities in the community. As well, everyone enjoys several large group events during the school year.

People must be receiving services from CLGW.
